SWAG#10 Booking Page

Welcome to the SWAG Meet No. 10 Booking Page

Tickets cost £5.50 and cover a sandwich lunch plus tea, coffee soft drinks and nibbles throughout the day.

This meet your £5.50 also gains you entry into the amazing Retrobench raffle where you could win one of three Amiga set-ups!

How to Book

If you wish to book a table to set up kit you’ll be bringing then please select a table (squares prefixed with either A, B, C or D) and proceed to the payment option. The tables are quite sizeable so please don’t be greedy and book multiple tables for just yourself. There are a few ‘reserved’ tables at the end of tables, like last time these were used to for some ‘interesting’ displays of what you bring along.

If you’d like to bring your own table then please select a table (squares prefixed with BYT) and proceed to the payment option. Our space is limited so please don’t book multiple bring your own table slots for just yourself.

Finally, if you’d like to attend but don’t wish to bring any kit then just select a seat (squares prefixed with S) and proceed to the payment option.

Next Retro Events and the aftermath of Revival

What a fantastic weekend, myself (Dave), Gil and Zeb met up with Craig, Duncan and Simon, where we headed up to Walsall football stadium for the 3rd year running to support the computer section of Retro Revival and it certainly was a good spread of Commodore history on show. We have found that people are interested in our meetup’s over the years which has made our group significantly larger. Videos are currently being sorted but recent member to our meet is Pixels’ at Dawn (Part of the Amigo’s YouTube Channel) has done an overview video.

Gil will be at the first Horsham Gaming Festival for the weekend of the 29th and 30th of June 2019. He will be showing Visitors will be able to try out a range of gaming genres from table top, to digital, with a mix of modern games and some retro classics from the past.

SWAG#9 – We Returned to Chipping Sodbury

After a successful Workbench meet in Chipping Sodbury, (which was supposed to be a unique one-off) we ended up back for meet number 9 with some help from our sponsor Checkmate and we had our best meet-up to date by far. We had over 40 machines, we had two talks, we had many YouTube channels, we had the Speedball 2 finals, rare computers, etc!

‘Let’s talk Retro’ Colin and James have done a video explaining what happened on Saturday 18th of May.

Thank you to all that came, especially to our sponsors. Over the next week we will be posting some more details of what happened during our day.
